PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple thinned damping device that can easily be installed at a small and narrow installation place, is improved in damping performance, and can adjust the number of peculiar vibration and a damping force. SOLUTION: The thinned damping device 20 comprises: a square frame-shaped thinned base frame 1 installed on an OA floor or the like; a fixed measure constituted of square columnar bodies 2, 2 rotatably supported at their one-end sides by a torsion shaft 7 supported by a bearing 5 on the base frame 1, and a plate body 2a attached to the square columnar bodies 2, 2; a tuning measure 3 with its installation position adjustable with respect to the plate body 2a of the fixed measure; an elastic damper 4 with its installation position adjustable between the base frame 1 and the square columnar body 2; and a coil spring 9 with is elastic force adjustable and detachable between the other end lower part of the plate body 2a and the base frame 1.
