PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hydrolyzed protein resistant to degradation during production. SOLUTION: A hydrolyzed product of protein is produced by carrying out the hydrolysis reaction in the presence of dextrin. The hydrolyzing method is e.g. a method to perform the hydrolysis reaction over a long period e.g. by using a protease.
