PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost manufacturing method and an apparatus even for the minimum circulation or the single production in the manufacturing method of printed articles consisting of the book inners and the covers where the book inners and the covers are supplied from the different channels and the respective covers are combined with the book inners at the spine. SOLUTION: The book inners (2) and the covers (3, 3', 3") are supplied from the different channels to the processing apparatus (4). Each cover (3, 3', 3") is respectively combined at the spine area to one book inner (2) inside the processing apparatus (4). The book inner (2) and the cover (3, 3', 3") are identified before the processing apparatus (4).
