PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of fixing a coil in a slot in a motor stator core wherein a slot wedge can be easily and reliably fixed without use of a heat source, and to provide a liquid-sealed motor using this coil fixing structure. SOLUTION: In the structure of fixing the coil in the slot in a motor stator core, the coil 20 is inserted into the slot 12a in the motor stator core 12, insulating paper 31, 32, 33 is wrapped around the coil 20 positioned in the slot 12a, the slot wedge 40 is inserted into the slot 12a, and the coil 20 is thereby fixed in the slot 12a in the stator core 12. A cut groove 41 is formed in each slot wedge 40, and a protrusion 36 is formed in insulating paper 31 positioned at the cut groove 41 in the slot wedge 40. The protrusion 36 is fit into the cut groove 41 in the slot wedge 40 to fix the slot wedge 40 and thus the coil 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
