PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-element planar antenna wherein its miniaturization is promoted, the electrical characteristics for its sensitivity and directivity, etc., are improved and further, it can cope with the advancements of its functions. SOLUTION: In one principal surface of a board, there are included four circuit conductors comprising two pairs of circuit conductors, each of which functions as an MSL-type antenna element. Board feeders used for the totally four circuit conductors comprising two pairs are constituted of first and second MSLs each connecting a pair of circuit conductors and a first SL crossing these MSLs. The totally four circuit conductors comprising two pairs are defined as one set, and totally 16 circuit conductors from the first to the fourth set are disposed in a matrix shape. The SLs of the first and the second sets are connected by the fourth MSL provided on one principal surface of the board, the SLs of the third and the fourth sets are connected by a fifth MSL provided on one principal surface of the board, the fourth and the fifth MSL microstrip lines are connected by the second SL, and power is fed to a central area of the second SL.
