A rotary snow tiller (1), for grooming the snow surface (M) of ski slopes and designed to advance in a travelling direction (D), has a frame (2); a shaft (3) rotating about an axis (A1) transverse to the travelling direction (D), and having teeth (12) for breaking up the snow surface (M); a further shaft (4) located behind the shaft (3), rotating about a further axis (A2) transverse to the travelling direction (D), and having further teeth (13) for further breaking up the snow surface (M); and a finish mat (6) located behind the further shaft (4).
