SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor 1 is provided with the MR element 10 and a lead substrate 20 which holds the MR element 10 and in which a lead wiring 21 is printed, and a holding means 40 for tilting an element substrate surface P2 of the MR element 10 at a prescribed angle to a direction of magnetic field to be measured Mx. The holding means 40 is a wedge-shaped spacer member 40, interposed in between an element substrate 11 and the lead substrate 21.
