A press for an injection moulding machine comprises a platform (5) translating in a direction (D) and having a connection face (10) suitable to be connected to a mould, and a toggle mechanism (4) moving the platform (5), the platform (5) comprising hinge eyelets (9) connected to the toggle mechanism (4) and arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane and non-axially symmetrically with respect to an axis parallel to said direction (D), a first and a second structural appendix (12, 13) spaced from each other and carrying the hinge eyelets (9), a plate (14) connecting the hinge eyelets (9) to one another and arranged on the side opposite to the connection face (10) with respect to the first and to the second structural appendix (12, 13) and at least a rib (16) for joining the first and the second structural appendix (12, 13) to each other and having an edge (17) with variable height with respect to the connection face (10) and concave to define a manual access to the inside of a cradle (C) defined at least by the first structural appendix (12), by the second structural appendix (13), by the plate (14) and by the rib (16). |
