The present invention relates to a method of providing advertisement content in a display device. The objective of the present invention is to display customized advertisements on a screen of a display device. The method of providing advertisement content in a display device comprises: a step of forming pairing with a first terminal; a step of acquiring first advertisement content searched by an advertisement server, based on first customized information about the purchase preferences of a first user; a step of allocating the first advertisement content to a first area among multiple areas on a display, based on a first distance between the first terminal and the display device and the time where the first pairing lasted; and a step of displaying the first advertisement content in the first area.
