PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor for which the measuring accuracy/thermal shock behavior and the service life are optimized.SOLUTION: Provided is a pressure sensor 1 for measuring pressures in pressure chambers 2, more specifically in combustion chambers of internal combustion engines, comprising: a sensor housing 3 with a longitudinal axis A and an interior space 4; a measuring element 5 arranged in the interior space 4 of the sensor housing 3; and a rotation-symmetrically designed membrane 6 with a peripheral edge section 7 connecting the membrane 6 to an end of the sensor housing 3 on the pressure chamber side to seal off the interior space of the sensor housing 3 on the pressure chamber side. The membrane 6 has a central plunger 8 that interacts with the measuring element 5 and a flexible annular membrane segment 9. The annular membrane segment 9 connects the plunger 8 with the peripheral edge section 7 of the membrane 6. The annular membrane segment 9 is designed as a convex circular arc 10 of a constant material thickness on the pressure chamber side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
