PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus capable of sequentially taking out light beams with specific wavelength bands from irradiation light beams entering from a light source, using a plurality of rotary turrets.SOLUTION: The light source apparatus includes: a light source for exiting irradiation light; a plurality of rotary turrets on which a plurality of light passage areas including specific-wavelength light passage areas that take out light with specific wavelength bands from the irradiation light entering from the light source, are aligned at equal angular pitches in a circumferential direction; and drive means that rotates the respective rotary turrets 261A and 261B so as to sequentially insert the multiple light passage areas disposed at the respective rotary turrets 261A and 261B, into the optical path of the irradiation light at timing synchronized with a prescribed imaging period. The respective rotary turrets 261A and 261B include mutually different number of types of specific-wavelength light passage areas disposed thereon, and have same number of light passage areas disposed thereon. The drive means rotates the respective rotary turrets at same speed, while retaining a prescribed phase difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
