PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure which can highly maintain the bending rigidity and the torsional rigidity of a pillar in a longitudinal direction while forming an opening part region at a part of the pillar in the longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: Joining part regions which are joined to each other and opening part regions A3 which are opened while separating from each other are arranged at side edges of a pillar inner 22 and a pillar outer 24. The joining part regions have a first joining part region A1 which adjoins one of the opening part regions A3 in a longitudinal direction, and a second joining part region A2 which adjoins the other of the opening part regions A3 in the longitudinal direction. A connecting wall 32 which connects the opening part regions A3 to at least either of the first joining part region A1 and the second joining part region A2 is extensively arranged at least at either of the pillar inner 22 and the pillar outer 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
