An inkjet printhead 50 comprises a fluidic chamber substrate (2, Fig.1a) having at least two droplet units provided in an array therein. The droplet units comprise a fluidic chamber (10, Fig.1a), a first fluidic port 13a-d provided at a first surface (19, Fig.1a) of the fluidic chamber substrate. The first fluidic port is in fluidic communication with the fluidic chamber. A nozzle (18, Fig.1a) formed in a nozzle layer (4, Fig.1a) is provided at a second surface (17, Fig.1a) of the fluidic chamber substrate. A vibration plate (20, Fig.1a) is provided at the first surface of the fluidic chamber substrate. The vibration plate comprises an actuator 22a-d for effecting pressure fluctuations within the fluidic chamber. The droplet units are arranged adjacent each other about an axis extending substantially in a width direction W of the droplet units. The first fluidic ports of the droplet units are staggered a first stagger offset distance O from each other substantially in a length direction of the droplet units. A wiring layer (30, Fig.1a) extends over the first surface of the fluidic chamber substrate and between the first fluidic ports. |
