The present invention relates to a variable capacity magnetron whose capacity can be controlled without problems, such as a reduction in efficiency, excessive heating and the like, as desired. The variable capacity magnetron may comprise: a positive polar section; a plurality of vanes which are located inside the positive polar body, and constitute an positive polar unit along with the positive polar body; a filament which is located on an axis of the positive polar body, forms a predetermined action space with respect to front surfaces of the vanes, and emits thermions; an upper permanent magnet and a lower permanent magnet which are located within the anode body, and generate magnetic flux in the activating space; and an auxiliary magnet which is located outside the anode body and increases the magnetic flux formed in the activating space. |
