PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a titanium-containing oxide as a negative electrode active material, which is little in the generation of gas during cycle operations and exhibits excellent cycle stability.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention includes a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte interposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode. The negative electrode includes a titanium-containing oxide as a negative electrode active material. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a salt having a silsesquioxane structure. The content of the salt having a silsesquioxane structure is 0.01 wt.% or more with respect to 100 wt.% of the nonaqueous electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
