PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of sequentially and efficiently assembling a zinc air battery having a desired number of layers while separating the air electrode side from the negative electrode side by a separator structure.SOLUTION: This method of assembling the battery includes a process for laminating a combination of a frame body and an air electrode plate disposed in a region partitioned by the frame body, and a combination of the frame body and a negative electrode plate disposed in a region partitioned by the frame body once or two or more times alternately, while mutually segregating the air electrode plate and the negative electrode plate by the separator structure and holding the outer frame of the separator structure between adjoining frame bodies. The separator structure includes a separator having hydroxide ion conductivity, no water permeability, and no air permeability. Each of the frame bodies positioned at both ends is equipped with an end face plate for covering the region partitioned by the frame bodies in advance, or is disposed on the end face plate disposed in advance so that the region partitioned by the frame bodies is covered with the end face plate, or the region partitioned by the frame bodies is covered with the end face plate after the lamination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
