PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing method and pressing dies which can restrain wrinkles from occurring at a sloped wall portion of a pressed article having the sloped wall portion convexly bent along a longitudinal direction, in a plan view.SOLUTION: A pressing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is for forming, with a punch 3 and a die 5, a pressed article 41 which has a top plate portion 43, and a sloped wall portion 45 continuing on at least one side of the top plate portion 43, and in which the sloped wall portion 45 is convexly bent toward the sloped wall portion 45 in a longitudinal direction of the pressed article 41 in a plan view. The pressing method includes: a first step of relatively moving the die 5 toward the punch 3, with a die shoulder portion 5a abutting a part, in a blank 9, corresponding to the sloped wall portion 45, and performing the molding; a second step of clamping a part in the blank 9, nearer to an end portion than the part corresponding to the sloped wall portion 45, with the die 5 and the punch 3; and a third step of relatively moving the die 5 toward the punch 3 to a bottom dead center of the molding, with the part near the end portion clamped, to form the sloped wall portion 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
