A seamless waterproof flap assembly for the front of a garment such as a jacket comprises an outer storm flap 2 having an outer fabric 21 joined to an inner fabric 22 by stitching 23 which is preferably concealed and by fused adhesive 24, an inner storm flap comprising an outer fabric 31a joined to an inner fabric 32 by stitching which is preferably concealed and by fused adhesive 34, first and second anchoring flaps 4,5 having outer fabrics 41,51 stitched to the inner fabric of the respective storm flaps and having inner fabrics 42,52a stitched at 64 to the outer fabric, and a zipper 6 or equivalent fastener with its components mounted on the respective anchoring flaps.
