PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire in which a tire tube is filled with elastic resin instead of air, reducing weight, improving durability and riding comfort, and saving manufacturing cost; and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The tire is manufactured by an elastic resin composition filling step filling solution type resin R in the tire tube 12 through a valve V at a rate far less than amount required for complete filling, a compressed air injecting step injecting step injecting compressed air A of necessary setting pressure P0into the tire tube 12 through a valve V after the elastic resin composition filling step, an elastic resin composition flowing step making the filled solution type resin R flow into the whole area of an unfilled part in a circumferential direction by rotating a tire 11 generally half-turn while back-flow of the solution type resin R in the tire tube 12 is prevented after the compressed air injecting step, and a tire rotating step molding the solution type resin R inside while rotating the tire 11 at a low speed after the elastic resin composition flowing step.
