<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of uniformly sterilizing a container at a higher level. <P>SOLUTION: A sterilizer 10 comprises a supporting member 31 for supporting a container 1 that can be rotated together with the container, a discharging electrode 20 that can be inserted into the container supported by the supporting member, enclosure members 26, 27 partially enclosing from outside the container supported by the supporting member and counter electrodes 22a, 22b covering from outside at least a part of the enclosure members. In order to generate an atmospheric pressure plasma, a high voltage pulse is applied between the discharging electrode and the opposing electrode. The enclosure members have a contour along a part of arc centering a rotation axis L3 at a sectional surface of the supporting member orthogonal to the rotation axis L3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
