<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote and activate the golf by correcting differences in difficulties among golf links and applying fair handicaps to all the golfers matched with the plays of each day. <P>SOLUTION: A course difficulty setting means 33 calculates a 18-hole course difficulty degree from the difficulty calculated by difficulties of fairway and green for every hole, and a storage means 34 stores the gross score of a player based on the difficulty calculated by the course difficulty setting means 33. A standard handicap calculation means 35 calculates the handicap according to the number of times of plays in a prescribed period from the gross score of the player based on the difficulty calculated by the course difficulty setting means and stored in the storage means 34, so as to scarcely involve an artificial error and facilitate the setting of the difficulty due to the influence of the natural world. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
