PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of fuel economy and the durability of a belt.

SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S110) of increasing belt clamping force up to a value P(ON) greater than a normal value P(OFF) determined as belt clamping force in the state that a foot brake switch is off, when the foot brake switch is on (YES in S100) and an elapsed time after the foot brake switch is on is smaller than a threshold value T(0) (NO in S106), and a step (S108) of gradually reducing the belt clamping force down to the same value as the normal value P(OFF), when the elapsed time after the foot brake switch is on is the threshold value or greater (YES in S106).
