PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a filter on arbitrary position of an endless belt for moving the filter. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a filter moving means in a cleaning mechanism Y for removing dust attached to a surface while moving the tabular filter 13 disposed movably along an inner face of a suction opening 3, from a position for exerting a prescribed filter function, and then returning the filter to the position for exerting the prescribed filter function, is composed of an endless belt 10 rotated and driven by a prescribed driving means, and having a number of mounting holes, and a number of projections 28, 28 formed on the filter 13 and locked in the mounting holes 29, 29, the mounting holes 29, 29 are formed at equal intervals in the travelling direction of the endless belt 10, and the mounting holes 29, 29 at an endless belt 10 side and the projections 28, 28 at the tabular filter 13 side can be corresponded to each other at an arbitrary position of the endless belt 10.
