<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which can suppress an increase in the number of driver ICs and wiring and has a large display area. <P>SOLUTION: Scanning electrodes 17, 25 which are formed on respective rear substrates 14, 22 of a liquid crystal panel 11 and a liquid crystal panel 12 and made to correspond to each other are connected to each other with an FPC 29. Further, the output side of an FPC 31 on which a scanning driver IC 30 is mounted is connected to a scanning electrode terminal 25B on the side edge part of the rear substrate 22 of the liquid crystal panel 12. An FPC 32 on which a signal driver IC 34 is mounted is connected to the side part of the liquid crystal panel 11, and an FPC 33 on which a signal driver IC 35 is mounted is connected to the side part of the liquid crystal panel 12. According to such a configuration, the scanning electrodes 17, 25 of the liquid crystal panels 11, 12 are driven by one scanning driver IC 301 and, therefore, the increase in the number of the scanning drivers IC 30 and the number of wiring can be suppressed regardless of enlargement of the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
