<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for an illumination fixture in which the cover can be made to exhibit natural light emission for a long time with high brightness by the action of a luminous agent even in darkness after switching off, and in which adhesion reduction of stain and sterilization effect can be exerted by coating characteristics of a glass membrane. <P>SOLUTION: This is the cover for the illumination fixture arranged and installed in the periphery of the illumination fixture. A base material 2 of the cover 1 for the illumination fixture is formed by a mixture material 3 of a colorless transparent synthetic resin liquid and the luminous agent, and a glass membrane layer 4 formed by a single or multi-component metal oxide glass membrane is applied on the surface of the base material 2.
