PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device and a camera that have a high color separating function, low noise, and high wavelength sensitivity by surely suppressing color mixture due to oblique incident light without reference to the size of pixels. SOLUTION: A multilayer interference filter 15 has filter regions A, B, and C and boundary regions D and E in a direction along arrangement of photodiodes 13. In the multilayer interference filter 15, the total of thicknesses of layers 156 and 157 sandwiched betweenλ/4 multilayer films (a laminate of layers 151 to 153 and a laminate of layers 158 to 160) is set to 91 [nm] in the boundary regions D and E.
