PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to apply a color reproduction profile desired by a user for each region within an image. SOLUTION: A basic profile basically adaptive to an image is first selected. A user then selects a specific region in the image and a specific profile to be applied to the specific region from a plurality of preset profiles and this information is stored with a priority thereof. Processing for permuting a place corresponding to a color gamut of the specific region with a corresponding place of the specific color reproduction profile is performed on the basic color reproduction profile in accordance with the priority.
