PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking management device which is excellent in safety and can provide design allowance in relation to the closed position of a locking plate. SOLUTION: In the parking management device equipped with a locking plate drive mechanism 3 for operating the locking plate 2 to be opened/closed by the motor 7 power, the locking plate drive mechanism 3 has a first locking plate rotation axis 22 to be rotated by the motor 7 power and equipped with an engageably inserting part 28 to be engaged with the locking plate 2, the locking plate 2 is equipped with an engagement hole 41 to be engaged with the engageably inserting part 28 of the first locking plate rotation axis 22, and the cross-sectional shape of the engagement hole 41 is a shape to create a fan-like loose gap in a 180 degree symmetrical position with the engageably inserting part 28 engaged in the engagement hole 41, allowing the locking plate 2 to rotate by a prescribed angle to the opening direction relative to the engageably inserting part 28.
