摘要 The principle of a system to measure force effects in contact between a rail vehicle wheel and a rail during drive of a rail vehicle is characterized by determination of deformations of a wheel set wheels through the mediation of a strain gauge system located on a side of the wheel on one pitch circle and comprised of Wheatstone bridges, whereby arrangement of the strain gauge system is uniquely defined by the radius R of the pitch circle, the number of the Wheatstone bridges, the angle {delta} of the bridge opening, the bridge angular spacing {phi} and the strain gauge angular displacement from radial position {beta}. The arrangement of the strain gauge system is optimized to determine tangential forces FT, which is achieved by angular displacement of a strain gauge from the radial position thereof by an angle {beta}, whereby the utmost accuracy in the measurement of FT forces is achieved with the angle {beta} about the value of 45 degrees. During calibration, the wheel (5) of the wheel set (6) rotating about its axis of rotation is loaded by a rotating roller (15), which is on its circumference in contact with the wheel (5) circumference or the wheel set (6) wheel circumference. The loading rollers (15) are two in number and each roller (15) loads one wheel (5) of the wheel set, whereby due to design dimensions and structure, the calibration stand can be placed below a vehicle (16), in which there is disposed a wheel (5) or a wheel set (6), for calibration – loading. Transverse position of the loading roller (15) or rollers and supporting points can be changed by insertion of a reducing frame (20) of various widths for various gauges, wherein the calibration stand is mobile.
