A headend apparatus of a distributed antenna system according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: an analysis unit which analyzes frequency spectrum of multiple base station signals to detect characteristic information of the base station signals; a control unit which generates a control signal for controlling the power of the base station signals on the basis of the detected characteristic information; and multiple RF units, each of which receives at least one of the base station signals, and controls and outputs the power of the received base station signal in accordance with the control signal.
