PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the alignment accuracy of a sheet bundle in a sheet loading part with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a sheet discharge part which discharges sheets; a sheet loading part in which the discharged sheets are loaded; a loading state specification part which specifies a loading state of the sheets in the sheet loading part; a discharge direction control part which controls a direction, in which the sheets are discharged by the sheet discharge part to the sheet loading part, according to the specified loading state; a sheet discharge control part for causing the sheet discharge part, which has been moved to control the discharged direction, to discharge the sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
