PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus detection sensor that allows a simple configuration to obtain a highly accurate charge accumulation result.SOLUTION: A focus detection sensor includes a line sensor composed of a pair of sensor arrays having a plurality of pixels arranged. The sensor array is composed of: a first type pixel that is adapted to transfer a charge generated by a photoelectric conversion element during a charge accumulation period to corresponding memory means, and output a voltage after integration of the charge by the memory means and conversion of the integrated charge into the voltage; and a second type pixel that is adapted to integrate the charge in the pixel without transferring the charge generated by the photoelectric conversion element during the charge accumulation period to the memory means by an end of the charge accumulation period, transfer the charge to the corresponding memory means when the charge accumulation period is ended and output the voltage after integration and conversion of the integrated charge into the voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
