PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for glass, which is to be applied on an outer surface of a glass product to impart sufficient lubricity to the outer surface of the glass product and which exhibits excellent scratch resistance, hot water resistance and alkali cleaning durability.SOLUTION: The coating agent for glass of the present invention comprises a modified olefin resin (A), an acrylic resin (B), a carbodiimide resin (C), and a wax-like resin (D). When the coating agent is applied to a glass product, the coating agent imparts sufficient lubricity to an outer surface of the glass product and the formed coating layer has excellent scratch resistance such as a function of preventing scratches as well as excellent water resistance. As the coating layer maintains high adhesiveness, the coating layer has good wear resistance, prevents contamination of a conveyance line, particularly contamination of a conveyer guide caused by wear or dropping of a coating layer after application, and has hot water resistance and alkali cleaning durability.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
