PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pump control device capable of avoiding overheat of an engine with a simple configuration and control procedure.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump control device equipped with a pilot pipe 18 for supplying pilot oil to a regulator 12 adjusting a variable displacement hydraulic pump 11 driven by an engine 14 between a rated power state and a reduced power state includes a cooling water temperature switch 21 which is turned on when a temperature of cooling water of the engine exceeds a water temperature set value, and a working fluid temperature switch 22 which is turned on when a temperature of working fluid flowing through a hydraulic system including a hydraulic pump exceeds an oil temperature set value. A solenoid selector valve 23 which is energized and opened when at least one of the cooling water temperature switch and the working fluid temperature switch is turned on is provided in the pilot pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
