PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in an elastic optical network, since the number of variable control factors for determining network performance is increasing, appropriate control becomes difficult and utilization efficiency of the network is reduced.SOLUTION: The network monitoring control device includes: traffic amount monitoring means for monitoring a traffic amount of an optical network, obtaining the total traffic amount, which is a total amount of the traffic accommodated in the optical network; and average optical frequency utilization efficiency calculation means for calculating average optical frequency utilization efficiency, which is a ratio of the total traffic amount with respect to the total available optical frequency band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
