PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold cooling mechanism which has excellent maintainability and can be easily positioned.SOLUTION: A metal mold cooling mechanism comprises a cooling hole 3 formed on a metal mold 2, and a cooling pipe 4 which is inserted in the cooling hole and supplies a cooling fluid into the cooling hole, in which the cooling pipe has an inner pipe 5 which discharges the cooling fluid supplied from a base end side into the interior from an opening 5b on a tip side into the cooling hole, and an outer pipe 6 in which the inner pipe is located with a clearance S therebetween and which discharges the cooling fluid in the cooling hole from the base end side to the exterior through the clearance. The outer pipe has a seal member 7 which is provided on an outer periphery of a tip and can stick to an inner peripheral surface of the cooling hole, and male screw part 6d which is provided on an outer periphery on a base end side. On the inner peripheral surface of the cooling hole, a female screw part 9a which can be engaged with the male screw part, and a space part 9b which is adjacent to an axial direction tip side of the female screw part and can accommodate the male screw part are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
