<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove toner or paper powder stuck to a paper feed roller by providing a cleaning roller pressure contacted with a paper feed roller, and forming the cleaning roller out of silicone rubber of which the rubber hardness is set to a specific numeral value or less. SOLUTION: In the paper refeed device 97 of a copying machine, because a paper feed roller 204 is rotated under the condition in which recording paper is pressed from the upper side by a recording paper pressing mechanism 203, the recording paper is fed into the nip part of a pair of separation rollers 201, 202. A cleaning roller 205 removing dirt of a pair of the separation rollers 201, 202 is formed out of silicone rubber of excellent adsorption for paper powder or toner. This silicone rubber is set to be JIS A 20 degrees or less in rubber hardness, and to be 1.5 or over in friction coefficientμ. Accordingly the percentage content of dimethylsilicone oil in the silicone rubber is set to be 3% or less, and the percentage content of low molecular siloxane is set to be 3000 ppm or over.</p> |
