<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system, in which operationability on the portable machine side is improved by permitting the transmission of a request signal by a machine loaded on a car only when there is a portable machine in the neighborhood, the consumption of a portable-side battery is suppressed by utilizing a power supply for a battery loaded on the car by the machine loaded on the car and reliability on communication in a jammed parking space, etc., can be maintained. SOLUTION: The switch operation-less keyless entry system has a machine 1 loaded on a car transmitting a request signal (x) and a portable machine 2 preparing a transmission signal (y) on the basis of the received request signal (x) and transmitting the signal (y), and the machine 1 loaded on the car conducts locking-unlocking control in response to the received transmission signal (y) in the keyless entry system. The transmission of the request signal (x) by the machine 1 loaded on the car is permitted only when there is the portable machine 2 in the neighborhood at that time.</p> |
