A chicken breast fillet 1 has a main fillet portion 2 and an inner fillet portion 3. The fillet 1 has a neck end and an opposite vent end the main fillet 2 tapering from a relatively thick portion at the neck end to a relatively thinner portion at the vent end. The outer part of the breast fillet is covered by a natural membrane, except at the region of the wing attachment. A chicken breast fillet 1 is oriented such that the wing connection region of the neck end is presented to a hollow needle 23. The fillet 1 is pushed onto the needle 23 so that the needle 23 pierces the wing connection region and a preset quantity of filling 4 is delivered through the needle 23 and into the fillet. |
