<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate voids and fog on an image by suppressing trouble due to toner flow from the inside of a replenishing tube to a conveyance destination at a stretch, without reducing degree of freedom in layout of a toner receptacle and the conveyance destination, and preventing aggregation and liberation of an additive furthermore without the occurrence of toner aggregation in a conveyance path. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus equipped with a toner receptacle 32 for containing toner and a replenishing tube 43Y for conveying the toner from the receptacle to a developing section existing below the same, the replenishing tube has a vertical-direction conveyance section having a tilt angle of ≥45° from the horizon and a horizontal-direction conveyance section having a tilt angle of <45° from the horizon, and the degree of aggregation of the toner is 0 to <1% for 200/100/60 screen meshes in a vibrating screen measurement method and is 5 to 15% for 200/350/635 screen meshes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
