<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing dipeptides or derivatives thereof, enabling one of production of several kinds of diprptides or derivatives thereof, easy production of diprptides or derivatives thereof, high reaction velocity production of several kinds of diprptides or derivatives thereof, high yield production of several kinds of diprptides or derivatives thereof, control of dipeptide derivative structure, production of diprptides or derivatives thereof, containing amino acid high in hydrophobicity, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing dipeptides or derivatives thereof comprises synthesizing the dipeptides or derivatives thereof by reacting an acyl donor with an acyl receptor in the presence of a solvent and a thermally stable aminopeptidase belonging to peptidase family M28 and having reverse reaction activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
