PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which uses switch parts of different operating forces to make it possible to specify each switch part even if the number of signal lines is made smaller than the number of switch parts. SOLUTION: Eight first switch parts 7 and four second switch parts 8, for example, are provided. The first switch parts 7 enable inputs with a lighter operating force than with the second switch parts 8. The second switch parts 8 are positioned in proximity to the different first switch parts 7. The first switch parts 7 are all connected to individual first signal lines 30-37, while the second switch parts 8 are connected to a common second signal line 38. If any of the second switch parts 8 is pressed, a second switch specifying part 46 specifies the pressed second switch part 8 on the basis of a switch signal of the first switch part 7 which was pressed before with a light operating force.
