PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device of an on-vehicle electronic apparatus capable of changing illumination patterns according to the traveling speed of a vehicle when performing variable color display. SOLUTION: A threshold setting means 11 sets the predetermined threshold to be compared with the vehicular traveling speed acquired through a vehicle speed acquisition unit 6. A vehicle speed detection means 12 extracts the vehicular traveling speed acquired through the vehicle speed acquisition unit 6 on a memory. A speed determination unit 13 compares the magnitude relation between the vehicular traveling speed detected by the vehicle speed detection means 12 with the threshold set by the threshold setting means 11. An illumination pattern control unit 14 selects illumination patterns which are changing periods and colors of the illumination corresponding the traveling speed of the vehicle recorded in a storage unit 5 according to the magnitude relation of the vehicular traveling speed determined by the speed determination unit and the set threshold.
