<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which satisfies professional golfers and skilled amateurs in flight performance and controllability for use and also has excellent cracking durability against repeated impact. <P>SOLUTION: In the golf ball comprising a core, an outermost cover layer, and an intermediate layer therebetween, the intermediate layer is formed primarily of a resin material obtained by blending together a sodium ion neutralization product I of an olefin-unsaturated carboxylic acid binary random copolymer with a magnesium ion neutralization product II of an olefin-unsaturated carboxylic acid binary random copolymer. The intermediate layer-forming resin material has Shore D hardness of 55-70, and the intermediate layer has thickness of 0.5-2.5 mm. The outermost cover layer is formed primarily of a non-ionomer based resin material. The cover-forming resin material has Shore D hardness of 35-60, and the cover has thickness of 0.5-2.0 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
