<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device reducing the force required when opening/closing a display part. <P>SOLUTION: In a notebook personal computer 1, when a user tries to open the display part 4 in a closed state, an acceleration sensor 9 detects a turn to an opening direction thereof. An electromagnet 7 generates magnetic force to a direction repelling a permanent magnet 8 with the display part 4 side as the N pole according to the detection of the acceleration sensor 9. Thereby, the electromagnet 7 and the permanent magnet 8 repel each other, and the display part 4 receives force to the opening direction to reduce the force required when opening the display part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
