PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp which has a structure to prevent surely an occurrent of a difference in composition of a phosphor particle mixture in one end portion of a glass tube and the other end portion. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp is composed of a glass tube 11 and a phosphor particle layer 15 which is formed on an inner surface of the glass tube 11 and is composed of a phosphor particle mixture of blue color emitting phosphor particles, red color emitting phosphor particles and green color emitting phosphor particles. An average gravity of the blue color emitting phosphor particles is 4.0±0.4 and the average gravity of the red color emitting phosphor particles is 4.0±0.4, and the average gravity of the green color emitting phosphor particles is 4.0±0.4, and the gravity of the phosphor particle mixture composing the phosphor particle layer is 4.0±0.4.
