PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch protecting cover sharable for switch plates of a normal operation switch and an operation restriction switch different in layout. SOLUTION: An opening 51 encompassing all switches S1-S3 is formed on a cover body 5, and guide grooves 61, 62 and 63 are formed on facing side parts 51a and 51b along the parallel arrangement direction of the switches S1-S3 of the opening 51. Both side edge parts of slide plates 71, 72 and 73 are slidably fitted to the guide grooves 61, 62 and 63, and lock mechanisms 8 are formed between the guide grooves 61, 62 and 63 and the slide plates 71, 72 and 73.
