PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform counter correction capable of reducing an influence of erroneous detection by a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: An input register 21 repeats the operation of receiving a value calculated by performing calculation processing where a value is larger as a waveform pattern of a wobbling signal approaches a reference waveform pattern. A comparator 23 compares a maximum value held in a maximum value register 22 with a value entered to the input register 21. When the value entered to the input register 21 is larger, the maximum value stored in the maximum value register 22 is updated by this value. A maximum value counter register 32 stores a count value of a free counter 31 for the updating of the maximum value stored in the maximum value register 22. A comparator 33 compares the count value of the free counter 31 with the maximum value stored in the maximum value counter register 32 to output a control signal when they match each other.
