An infrared ray gas detector including heat and water proof function is provided that temperature and humidity of air sample are optimized with heater. An infrared ray gas detector including heat and water proof function comprises a housing body, a sensor assembly, and a microcontroller. The sensor assembly includes a metallic sensor housing(410) having the opening formed in the front surface, a light source lamp, a detecting signal output sensor measuring the intensity of the infrared ray returning through the air sample and outputs the electric signal, a base signal output sensor measuring the intensity of the infrared ray which does not pass through the air sample and outputs the electric signal, a optical block(460) including temperature sensor, a metallic lateral frame(420) in which the heater(470) heating up the air sample is built in, a reflector(440) is included between both side frame ends.
