A relay system and a method thereof for providing an in-building service are provided to reduce facility cost and transmission loss in signal transmission section between devices comprising the relay system. A main hub apparatus(110) relays a base station(10) and a routing function apparatus(120). The main hub apparatus is connected to a base station and an RF cable(20) and is connected with a routing function device and an optical cable(30). The main hub device extracts mobile communications data from the RF(Radio Frequency) signal transmitted from the base station and generates optical signal including the extracted mobile communications data. The main hub apparatus outputs the generated optical signal through the optical cable to the routing function device.
